Acceptance

These terms are a contract between you and venture out. (“we”, “us”), operator of www.ventureout.life and the venture out. mobile app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use venture out.

Who can use venture out.

You must be at least 16 years old, able to form a binding contract, and not barred from using the service under applicable law. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Everything done through your account is your responsibility.

Your content

You keep ownership of the ventures, stops, photos, comments and other content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour

venture out. has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post or do any of the following:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or content that targets people based on who they are.
• Sexually explicit material, content depicting or promoting violence, or anything that exploits or endangers minors.
• Spam, scams, impersonation, or deliberate misinformation.
• Anything illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights or privacy.

We may remove any content and suspend or permanently terminate any account that breaches these rules, at our discretion. We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users and aim to review and remove flagged content within 24 hours, ejecting offending users where appropriate.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

Every venture, comment and profile can be reported from the “…” menu. You can also block another user from their profile — once blocked, they can no longer follow you or comment on your ventures, and you will no longer see their content. We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt or abuse the service: no scraping at scale, reverse engineering, automated account creation, attempts to bypass security or rate limits, or interfering with other people’s use of venture out.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time — in the app from Settings, or on the web. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and the content tied to it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Service “as is”

venture out. is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use venture out. after a change means you accept the updated terms.
