Turia Park and Valencia Old Town
If you don’t mind getting your steps in this is a great way to take in some of the best sights in the city in one day. Loads of sights, food and beers 🍻

The route
The stops
Turia Park
DirectionsMake your way over to Turia Park which is a huge urban park that used to be a river! It is beautiful to walk or cycle through.

Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía
Once you’ve headed through the park, you’ll reach the Opera House. It is a magnificent building and photos don’t show the scale of it.

PASQUAL+SHEILA | Av.Francia 14
We needed a quick stop at this point for a drink because there is so much walking still to do. This is a really cool little spot but the service is a bit slow.

Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe
Head back over to the park and have a walk around the science museum. If you have time it is full of things to keep a family entertained.

Cafetería el Reino
At this stage we decided we wanted to do the long trek across to the old town but we needed some hydration on the way 🍻 (you can’t go wrong at €2 a bottle)

El Modernista Bar
You can’t visit Valencia and not do a few rooftop bars! The drinks get a bit more expensive but the views are worth it 🙌

Restaurante Casa BALDO 1915
We came across this place by chance and chose it because it seemed to have a bit more charm vs the other options about. The food was excellent! Bonus tip… possibly the coolest toilets in Valencia. (You’ll have to see them yourself!)

Atenea Sky ✢ Rooftop
This place is hyped up as the best sky bar in Valencia so we expected good things. It costs €10 each to get in and the service isn’t good. If you get the right seat the views are great though.

FINCA Bar de Barra
Aperol Spritz to go? What could go wrong!

Old town
DirectionsIn the old town just take your time walking around. There is so much to see and you’ll constantly be discovering new streets.

La Pistacchieria
Looking for the best ice cream in Valencia? Look no further!

Tyris On Tap
By chance a huge religious festival happened to be on. The 700th Corpus Christi event in the city. We came across this spot for a few craft beers whilst we watched the parade. One of our favourite spots! (Gutted it was closed when we came by the next day 🥹)

Bartínez
Great vibes sat on tables in the street in the evening heat 👌

Restaurante Taberna Las Meninas
Two tapas in one day? Yeah of course! We are in Spain after all 🙌 great food and good service!
